TEE OFF FOR A GREAT CAUSE!

Join us on Friday, June 12, 2026 for our second annual Ben-Gurion University Desert Open at the Lebovic Golf Club.

Enjoy a day of golf, camaraderie and philanthropy in support of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). The event brings together golf enthusiasts, community leaders and supporters of higher education in Israel. 

We extend a heartfelt thanks to Harry Lebovic, Dr. Wolf Lebovic, and the entire team at Lebovic Golf Club for their generous support and hospitality. 

How to Register
Simply click on the “Purchase a foursome or a single golfer” button and choose “Single” or "Foursome" in the drop down menu. If you choose to register as a 'Single' golfer, will place you in a group with other golfers.

• Each participant will receive a free additional round of golf from The Lebovic Golf Club, valid for the entire 2026 season while the course is open.
• Trophies will be given out for Closest to the Pin, the Longest Drive, team with the lowest score and team with 2nd lowest score.
• The two teams with the lowest score will get to lift the prestigious David Ben-Gurion Desert Cup! Not only will they claim this coveted trophy, but their names will also be etched in history as the winners of The Ben-Gurion University Desert Open.
• You will have an opportunity to bid on exclusive items at our silent auction.

Tournament Details

• Date – Friday, June 12, 2026
• Location - Lebovic Golf Club
• Address - 14012 Leslie Street, Aurora
• Maximum Participants - 72 golfers
• Format - 18 holes of championship golf in a relaxed, fun-filled environment
• Registration -
  • Foursome (4 players): $1,200
  • Individual Player: $300 (individuals will be grouped with others to form a foursome)

Event Schedule

09:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. – Registration & breakfast
10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Call to carts
11:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m. – Shotgun start
11:30 a.m. – 03:00 p.m. – Light lunch and snacks**
04:00 p.m. – 06:00 p.m. – Dinner & announcement of winners**
The silent auction will be open for bids throughout the day. 

*A tax receipt will not be issued for this event.

This tournament supports academic mentoring and learning accommodations for students affected by the October 7th attacks.
Funds raised will provide personalized tutoring, small-group instruction, and academic-emotional support to help vulnerable students overcome learning gaps, trauma-related challenges, and medical or cognitive barriers. This targeted support prevents dropout, strengthens confidence, and enables students to successfully enter and thrive in higher education, creating lasting social and economic impact through equal opportunity and long-term success.

About the Golf Club
Lebovic Golf Course ranked the 3rd best new golf course in 2016 by Golf Digest. It is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by world renowned course architect Doug Carrick. The par 70 layout is set upon 150 acres of rolling hills on the Oak Ridges Moraine in Aurora, Ontario. With breathtaking views and natural beauty, the course challenges both the expert and novice players alike.
